:: TENSION SETTING ::

This setting   technic   developt   and   used  from a  german company. An open ring (no connection) is cast or made by hand. On booth facing open end  a  groove  is cut  into  the piece. The stone is placed (rest) into booth grooves.Trough the tension of the ring the stone is hold into place.
For security the metal above booth grooves is burnished until the edge of the  stone  is  enclosed  by  the metal. This is a very  modern style setting technic, which only fit to very strong geometric style rings.
