:: GYPSY SETTING ::

A  hole is drilled, a little smaller than the stone to be set trough  the piece of jewelry. After enlarged and a  bearing is  cut, where the stone can rest. When all preparation work is done, the stone is placed into the open and hammered  until, he sit in fix  position. With a burnisher the edge of open metal is  worked  on.Until  the stone  sit  strong  in  place. Afterwards  the metal is sand papered until the surface is  the same  than the rest of  the
piece.
Not very often used setting, most for smaller round stones.
