The tiara was a 1936 Cartier 'halo' that loaned to Kate Middleton by the Queen, a royal wedding tradition. Kate's wedding ring was a band of Welsh gold by Wartski.
The royal wedding evening reception saw Prince William and Kate Middleton add a personal touch regarding wedding favours they chose to distribute. They close to go with limited edition scarves custom designed by Centex, based in Ludhiana, India. The company does retail scarves for up to US$500 for Burberry and others. These hand-done woolen scarves incorporate the Union Flag and animal prints. The limited edition scarf selection was made in three different colour combinations : red and blue, green and grey, and mauve with a brownish tinge.
