VS 1/ VS 2
Internal = very small inclusions or inclusions extremely hard to find, with 10x magnification
External = minor fringes and cracks on the girdle and cleavage cracks on a table facets.

SI 1/ SI 2
Internal = small inclusions easy to find with a 10x magnification but not visible with the naked
eye through the crown.
External = cleavage cracks near the girdle or light cracks in the pavilion facets.

PI 1
Internal = inclusion immediate visible with 10x magnification, but difficult to find with the naked
eye through the crown but not affect the brilliancy.
External = cracks in table and table facets and distinct fracture in the girdle.

PI 2
Internal = large and or numerous inclusions easily visible to the naked eye through the crown,
which can reduce slightly the brilliancy.
External = distinct fracture cracks in pavilion facets, which affect the brilliancy.

PI 3

     Piques are inclusion that can be seen from an experienced grader with the naked eye. Inclusions can be pinpoint, group of pinpoints, cloud of tiny pinpoints. dark spot, group of dark spots, colorless crystal, group of colorless crystals, cleavage around colorless crystals, dark inclusions, dark inclusions surrounded by cloud, small cleavage, larger cleavage, growth of twin line colorless, growth of twin line with color girdle fringes, girdle cleavage surrounded by cloud.
